Some days I am brilliant. Present.
Some days I fail. Miserably.
Today we did okay . . . Grace was a painty painter with sidewalk paint (equal parts cornstarch and water + food coloring).
Grace loved it . . . mostly she liked splattering it and didn't really get the "painting" part of it, and then she dumped it all out on the grass and played with the paintbrush for the next 10 minutes. :)

We had SO much fun . . . we left about 2:00 and got home around 9:00 and I felt like my legs were going to fall off from all the walking we did. They have a really cool pirate ship playground that was just the right size for Jake and Grace. Actually, Grace just mostly chased Jake around and hung on to him when he tried to climb up the ladder . . . oh, and she may have bit him once or twice too. Sorry buddy . . . we're working on that. After playing and eating and throwing rocks in the water, we walked back into Fairhaven and ate the best fish and chips and ice cream outside. It was a FABULOUS day . . . no schedule or time crunch . . . just whatever the kids wanted to do.

Tom left early Thursday morning for a fishing trip . . . we miss, miss, miss him. Can't wait to see him tomorrow.

Ruh-roh... better watch out when Grace comes to play. Our boys have been biting too... what's up with that??? The two had a "war" the other night, with plenty of teeth marks (and not a one crying) to go around. Gracester is just too cute!
