the fair: day 2

Day 2 at the fair was much shorter than Day 1 (forgot to say in my last post, we were there from about noon-10:00 p.m. on Day 1 and it was HOT!)

Mom and Dad, Jen and the kids, Bryan and Anne and the kids, and Grace and I went to the fair Thursday morning. Let's just say it was a little hard getting all the kids herded in the same direction and actually even moving anywhere all together in general. I think we decided we had fun, but going all together probably isn't the best idea. :)

We looked at Uncle Tom's pigs, visited Kristie in the horse barn and saw their cool Spongebob decorations and had some lunch. Grace tried out Emily and Jack's stroller for a little while (keeping her contained this day was even harder than the day before), so I just let her run. See the bottom left picture? She was on her way out of the horse barn if I would have let her. We all decided to part ways and head back to Birch Bay . . . Grace had a little meltdown when we were trying to get out of the fair and to the car, so we stopped at the same stage we had been to the day before and watched 3 brothers do some awesome tap dancing. Again, Grace loved it and we ended up watching them for about 45 minutes. It was just the break she needed and then we were on our way back out to the bay!
