random . . .

Lots of RANDOM pictures . . .

Going back a few Friday's . . . Jen and I in our infinite wisdom decided to drag the kids to Michael's, then McDonald's to play (where we met Zoop and Laura) and then to Target. By Target the kids were DUNZO, so Saint #1 and Saint #2 took the kids to the play area to play and Jen and I raced around Target kid-free (well, toddler-free, I had Vince) like crazy women. That night we went to watch the Nooksack football game . . . Zoop and Vince . . . oh how he LOVES her hair. Talk about RANDOM . . . Grace in her pajamas, one of my tank tops over them, a necklace, and ice cube tray and LOTS of broken crayons. We celebrated SEPTEMBER birthdays at Mom and Dad's . . . Tom left early because it was CLOSING day on the Fraser . . . his goal was to have "the boat" catch 250 fish for the season. As he was leaving, Mom started yelling, "250! 250! 250!" I made them all re-enact it so I could get a picture . . . look at the SMILE on Tom's face. "The boat" ended up getting 252 fish at the Fraser for the season. And NO, they are NOT all in our freezer. Grace calls Uncle Tom, "pizza-sandwich Uncle Tom" now since he put two slices of pizza together to make a "sandwich" at Emily and Jack's birthday party. To quote Uncle Tom, "It keeps your fingers clean and you go back to the box half as often."LOVE watching these two girlies play together . . . My other "baby" . . . Or is she a puppy?PRE-SCHOOL . . . the reading and singing wasn't enough. The girl NEEDED crafts. So we learned about Jonah and the whale and colored a whale and she glued a bunch of squares on a paper (and she still calls SQUARES circles or triangles). Exciting to you and me, no. Exciting to a 2 year old, YES. Vince watching pre-school from the Bumbo . . . thanks again Tanya for letting us borrow it. LOVE those dimples. We met Jake and Max for Toddler Time at the Lynden Library . . . Learning about Joshua and the Battle of Jericho . . . we built Jericho . . . and then KNOCKED it down. Grace blowing her horn like in the story . . . A color-sorted Jericho . . . Vince had his 4 month appointment last Friday . . . no pictures of Vince, just one of Grace weighing and measuring herself. LOVE it when Mom surprises us with LEFSE . . . here she is telling the kids the story of how Uncle Bryan broke her Lefse turner. LOVE the look on Grace's face . . . PRE-SCHOOL time: making and playing with play-dough. We watched McKinna's volleyball game on Tuesday night . . . they're yelling, "GO MINNA!"All looking at the camera AND holding hands? It's a Christmas miracle. Told you it was going to be RANDOM.

Vince looks like he was MADE for that bumbo, glad he's getting use out of it! And Grace will be sorely disappointed with any other teacher in her lifetime, because her mom ROCKS!
