the FAIR!

Honestly one of my favorite big events of the year is the FAIR!  Even now when we drive by the fairgrounds, we do a countdown of how many more months until it is fair time again!

This Mama was pregnant and we ended up seeing her give birth the last day of the fair . . .

Go Maddie!  Grace is also counting down the years until she gets to be in 4-H and show.  Unfortunately you have to be in 3rd grade . . . we have a few years yet!

It was HOT!  And Vince passed out . . . spit bubbles and all.

While the boys were sleeping, Grace did lots of rides with the cousins . . .

Tommy came that night and we headed to the grandstands to watch the horses . . .

Tom was obsessed with getting hypnotized since Angie did it the year before . . . sure enough, he got picked out of the audience . . .

And he's OUT!

One of the FUNNIEST things I have seen in a long time . . . if you ever see Tom, ask him about it.  He remembers more and more of it as time goes on and said he kind of knew what was going on, but he couldn't stop himself from doing what she said.

He is being a Russian ballet dancer here!

And here he is speaking in Russian!  Who knew Tom knew Russian?  You could buy a video of the whole thing, but Tom WOULD NOT let me buy it!

Back again!  Oliver had gotten circumcised in the morning and even that didn't stop us from going back for more of the fair!  I just had to make sure to pack the big tub of Vaseline for diaper changes and we spent some extra time in the nursing mom's room that day.
