trying to get caught up!
playing at home . . .
The Lautenbach boys came over to play one afternoon . . . I think Grace is telling them the VIPER story here . . .
And then the Silves boys came and joined us too! It was Grace and 7 boys!
The kids picked some very green apples . . .
Vince got left behind under the apple tree and played there for a long time . . . 
They whacked the tree trying to get some nuts down . . . 
and made potions . . . 
And then Tommy came home! For a week or so he was home during the week, which was just what our little family needed. TIME TOGETHER!
That night we went down to the river to play . . . it is the perfect spot because it is away from the "real" river. 
YAY! Zoopie came! Mom made us delicious sandwiches wrapped in her now-signature paper!
Last Friday, Bruce and Amy hosted a FABULOUS get together!
The host and hostess with the mostest! And their cool firepit . . . 
Grace was hearing some fireworks . . . 
Jen and I were just discussing what was still left on our summer TO DO list . . . we have a few things left to squeeze in before summer is over!
