Birch Bay! (days 1 & 2)

We spent the first week of August camping out at Birch Bay with the girls in Tom's family. We usually stay with Tom's sister in their motorhome, but this year (after practicing in Mom and Dad's backyard), we brought a TENT!

We went straight to the beach on Tuesday . . . Maddie and Grace taking the boat waaaaaaaay out to the "big water."
I think my Dad asked me, "Don't you go to the C Shop or the waterslides or anything?" NOPE! The agenda is: wake up, eat breakfast, make lunch to take to the beach and then play, play, play all day until dinner! And no one complains or is bored for a minute.

Back at camp Tuesday night . . . Gathered in Aunt Katie's trailer for some ghost stories . . .CRAZY kids!Grandma 'Leen telling THE VIPER! If you see Grace, ask her to tell it to you!

Grace slept with Teddy that night . . . she ADORES him.

Wednesday morning . . . Vince taking a little nap before we headed to the beach.Grace getting her toe nails painted . . . And back to the beach!Mermaid Maddie!

So fun to watch Grace start to become one of the "big kids" . . . they rode bikes non-stop.

Just before dinner Wednesday night . . . all the kids (minus Vince) with Grandpa Ted and Grandma Jessie.
