He was pretty close on Monday and Tuesday, but I decided to make it "Facebook official" on Tuesday night when Grace was in the bathtub and he crawled all the way into the bathroom and pulled himself up on the tub.
We went to Mom's yesterday and had "inside recess" as Jen calls it (riding trikes and bikes and scooters in their CLEAN garage). I set Vince down and he made a bee-line for Sy!

The first few days it had to be something pretty enticing to get him to do all the work of crawling, but now he is all over the place and pulling up on everything.
He had his 9 month well check this morning . . . except for a little dry skin on his face (quite the opposite of the moist, yeasty neck fats we battled all those months), he's a healthy, happy baby!
He weighed 23 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces (90th percentile) and was 29 inches long (75th percentile). For comparison, at 9 months, Grace was 19 pounds, 9 ounces and 29 1/4 inches long. 
Oh . . . and BIG apologies to my sweet husband, who was in Spokane and had to find out via FACEBOOK that his first born son had indeed, started crawling.
