While I've been gone from your e-presence on the intergoogle, we've been:
riding in the tractor with Tom . . . we only lasted about 45 minutes. Tom was driving way too fast (he had to keep up with the corn chopper) and the corn field was really bumpy. Grace had a little routine though . . . when we would pass by the cows, she would say, "moo cows", then we would go by a really stinky pile of manure and she said "pee u", then we would dump the corn and drive back by the cows again and she would say, "bye cows", then down the bumpy corn rows she would say "bumpity bump bump bump" and when we got to the corn she was fascinated watching the chopper along side us "eating" all the corn. Once the wagon was filled up, we were headed back to the cows again . . . to start all over with "moo cows" . . .
The pictures are horrible, but it's hard to take a good one when your getting bumped and bounced all over the cab.
Grace looooooooves yogurt and especially loves to feed it to herself . . .
Tom's cousin Laura got married on Saturday . . . we were the guestbook attendants . . .
The kids were ready to leave the church and "paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar-tay!"
Grace and Kennedy dancing away . . .
Grace was delighted beyond belief that she got a purse and "pretties" from cousin Laura . . . and look: out of the 7 or 8 necklaces that were in there, she pulled out the orange and pink ones to wear that matched her outfit. :)
Laura had a CANDY BUFFET! Seriously . . . this was the best idea I've seen at a wedding in a long time. Grace spent a lot of time over by that table and consumed her fair share of swedish fish and sour patch kids. I didn't get a picture of it but Grace was eyeing this little guy who was about her age . . . she would go up to him and get real close and he would take a few steps away, and she would move in again . . . ooooooooh, we've got to watch out for her . . . reminds me that last weekend at dinner at our friends house she planted a kiss on one of their boys . . . her first non-familial kiss . . . woo woo!
The good old YMCA . . .
Tom took over the emcee duties for awhile . . .
Grace was so tired she was moving in slow motion by the time we left, but she managed to account for all of her candies and get them into the bucket so we could take them home.
Grace has gotten more bumps and bruises in the last few days than I think she has in her whole life . . . plus a cold (going to Target and a wedding in the same day don't do much for keeping a kid healthy) and drooling blood because 2 of her bottom molars are coming in and you can see why I have been paying lots of attention to my little peanut and not much to the computer the last week or so.

sounds like Grace needs a few Silves bodyguards to keep her away from the non-familial boys!
