Grace discovered her love for licorice.
We all discovered our love for the blow up rafts Angie brought. They are still on sale at Freddy's this week . . . it's on my list!
I had to call Tom and have him stop at Rite Aid on the way out and find a baby for Grace. She had been stealing Kennedy's all day and I knew it would be a long week if they had to keep fighting over it. He ended up buying the same baby as Kennedy had.
Grace skinned up her knee/shin pretty good right outside the trailer . . . all the time in the saltwater healed it up in no time.
Day 2:Grace was in the water most of the day. It was HOT.
The big kids loved pushing the little kids in the strollers. They might have even been "racing" them when the Moms weren't looking.
Day 3:Barb and the girls came after their Louisiana relatives left.
Grace had a yummy Mickey Mouse pancake for breakfast.
Tom came in the afternoon and went golfing with Grandpa Ted and Uncle Glen.
Grace and Kennedy played for hours together (nicely even) on the beach while the big kids were at Beachwood.
Party Night and darebase (a crazy game)
Every day, everyone else would drive to the beach, but Grace and I walked. It was fabulous. See picture below to see how we rolled . . . Grace clutching her baby and our beach bag on the back (which was so heavy it would almost tip Grace over if I let go.) One day Grace dropped her baby just as we were crossing the road . . . poor baby got some tire marks on her head, but we saved her.

Tom's family has been camping at Birch Bay for a week every year for about 25 years. Every year they take a picture with all the kids on the bunk of the camper. Isn't that a cool tradition? This year Grace looked like a kid instead of a baby.
Tom has tons of stories about camping at Birch Bay with all his cousins. I am so glad Grace will grow up with this tradition too.
