Jones Christmas!

For the last few years we have celebrated our Jones Family Christmas on 3rd Sunday.  I LOVE this.  It is the perfect way to start out all the Christmas celebrations . . . it gets the kids EXCITED for all that is to come in the week ahead and it is so much fun to see all of them playing with their new toys and each other.

The plaid family!

2010, 2011 and 2012!
Grandma had some coloring pages for the kids to decorate . . .

Stole this one from Anne . . . waaaaaay better than any of the ones I got!
Grandpa carving the ham . . .
After a delicious dinner, it was time for presents!
Waiting!
 Oliver was up first!
This was actually a present for him and Vince together . . . a glow-in-the-dark racetrack!  Vince loves it and I'm sure Oliver will too!
Vince got what?!?!?!?!  A gun from one of the Lautenbach boys!  He couldn't have been happier!

And Grace got a new baby from one of the Jones kids!
Then after a big knock on the door, we headed out to garage to see what Nooksack Santa had brought!

Grace got ROMEOS!  My Mom, I mean "Nooksack Santa" was a little nervous about this, thinking Grace would be disappointed getting shoes when everyone else was getting toys . . . absolutely not!  She had been wishing and hoping for Romeos for about 6 months and was over the moon . . . and has worn them just about every day since.
Trying them on for the first time!

 Here comes Vince!
 A digger!
We made Grandma and Grandpa some ornaments for their tree . . . a G, V and O!

A pretty happy girl . . . wearing Romeos and holding a baby.
 Oliver!
Such a cool idea . . . all the kids got sweatshirts from Grandma and Grandpa!

Vince telling Grandma thank you . . .
Winding down the night by making Lefse!
 The bigs with the littlest!
We got home and put the digger together . . . it lived inside during the winter and is now outside by the swing set.  Vince loves it!
I'm pretty sure I said the same thing last year and will probably say it every year to come . . . but THANK YOU Mom and Dad for the amazing celebration.  The food was incredible, the presents a bonus . . . but the real gift is how much you love us and our kids.
