We always go to Bloedel for a picnic with Tom's family . . . Tom had to work this year though, so it was just me and the kids!

Instead, we went to Mom and Dad's for dinner and FUN!
Tom was intentionally standing in the line of the smoke so he could SMELL the firework smell . . . this is the second year he didn't buy any fireworks and man does he miss it!
The smoke bombs were okay, but the parachute ones made some noise . . . so in they all went!
Tommy got a parachute!

Brrrrrrr!This was the first year in a LONG time we haven't been out to Birch Bay for the 4th . . . Grace is AFRAID of fireworks and you can't get away from them out there!
