December FUN!

We celebrated Sy's FIRST birthday! I don't know if poor Sy ever even got a chance to try out his present . . . Vince was HOGGING it and LOVING it that Max would push him around!
Nama always makes everything fun and a game . . . even cleaning up! Ready, set, go! Who can fill up their bag first with wrapping paper?
Matching shirts from Tom's trip to Alaska this summer . . .
We went and got our tree a few weekends ago . . .
Grace liked this one, but it might have been a TAD too big . . .
We found the one!
It was a pretty small tree, but we couldn't be too picky because there weren't a whole lot of quality choices left!
What a man! :)

Yummy candy canes!
Last Saturday we made lefse and fattigman at Grandma Larson's . . . Grace was REALLY into helping this year. Well, when she wasn't taking care of Grandpa Larson and making sure his blanket was on him just right on the couch.
Vince wanted some time with the rolling pin too . . .
Ladies in the kitchen . . .
Vince was consumed for awhile watching Tom out the window cleaning up Grandma and Grandpa's yard . . .
GIANT LEFSE!
FRESH lefse . . . nothing like it! YUM!
So glad my kids and Tom love it as much as I do!
On to fattigman . . . ask Grace what fattigman means the next time you see her!
That night we made Spritz cookies . . . one of Tom's favorite things to do is use the Spritz "gun" . . .
Grace started out using the sprinkles very sparingly . . .
but we all know how it eventually turns out!
Tom was QUITE impressed with his usage of the extra green dough to make holly on the wreaths. He was cursing me though that we didn't have any red hot decorations for him to make the holly berries. They are already on my list for next year!
These two decorated for a LONG time . . .
Grace getting the Christmas cookie wiggles out while the cookies were baking . . . she is a NUT!And what everyone else did while I cleaned up!
LOVE December traditions!
