feast or famine.

It's been FEAST or FAMINE around here these days as far as activities go . . . seems like we're either doing 14 things in one day or NOTHING.

Tom wasn't home for April Fools Day so I couldn't get him with the ol' rubberband-on-the-kitchen-hose-sprayer trick, so Grace and I decided to bring a "trick" to Grandma's house for dinner. We brought special drinks . . . blue jello with a straw stuck in them. Not sure if we tricked anyone or not, but the kids LOVED the jello.

Sucking . . . but nothings coming! HA! Max wasn't fooled and went straight for a spoon.Nama has a new set-up for the kids in the backroom . . . a new couch and toybox and TV! This one is a little crazy . . . Tom got home from Oregon around midnight Thursday, got called to go BACK to Oregon to fix a toilet at about 3:00 Friday afternoon (for about 5 minutes we were ALL going to go, but then we decided not to) finally got back home around 2:00 Saturday afternoon, and we left at about 2:10 for Redmond. I asked Tom if it was like a bad dream to be back on the freeway he just left! But, this trip to Redmond was for a VERY SPECIAL occasion . . . Heidi's 30th BIRTHDAY! Can't believe Maya let the big guy hold her! Look at that CAKE! Somehow Grace weaseled her way in on the action . . . Getting the wiggles out . . . Some Ring Around the Rosie . . .Dan definitely gets Husband-of-the-Year points for all the hoopla!Happy, happy birthday BEST FRIEND! Love you and we wouldn't have missed your party for the world. Sunday we celebrated Aubree's 8th birthday!And the Easter Bunny called and said he needed some helping filling all the eggs for the Sumas Easter Egg Hunt in a few weeks . . . Vince got right on it.EVERYONE was busy working . . . These three were EXTRA feisty that night . . . or maybe it was me???? :)Katie made an AWESOME cake for Aubree . . . it's an EIGHT!
