I can't remember what we were doing Saturday night, but Grace never got jammies on before she went to bed, so here she is "hunting" for her Easter basket Sunday morning. Tom knew not to hide her basket somewhere too tricky, because she will look and look and look for things and then get distracted by a million other things . . . but even on the chair proved to take some time to find.
Looking, looking . . .
She finally sees it!
Yes . . . Band-Aids are Easter basket worthy in this house . . . more of a toy than a first aid device. Actually, we've never had any fancy ones here, but she loves getting them at Grandma Jones'.
Princess jammies . . .
And princess shoes! It is darling to see her clippity-clopping around the house in this get-up . . .
After church we went to Grandma DeHoog's . . . no pictures of the actual festivities, but I did try to get a few of the Gracester before she ate anything in her dress . . . obviously, she wasn't really in the mood. :)

Then we went to Mom and Dad's for the JONES family Easter . . . I think there was 52 peeps there. Grace still wasn't getting the whole egg hunting thing . . . this was about the only egg she touched.
HA! Love this one of Tom . . . I tried to tell him that maybe next year Grace would be more competitive and be crying and fighting with the bigger cousins for her share of the eggs . . . this year though, only an empty bucket . . .
because Grace was more interested in the desserts!
Even though she didn't care about the eggs, she loved running around with all the cousins . . .
Cousin AhLana was so sweet and shared this beautiful egg with Grace . . .
We went home and had a BIG nap, then headed to Grandma Jessie's for one last party . . . since the baby pigs live there now and Grace is there a few times a week, she is in love with Grandpa Ted and talks about him all the time.
As we were driving home, Grace was so hyped up she kept yelling, "Mohhhhhhh CAAAAHHNDEEEEEE" over and over again. Even though it was a long day, she was running circles around us until about midnight. Luckily Monday was the first day of SPRING BREAK so we didn't have to get up and go anywhere.I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter filled with family, love, and at least a few hidden eggies.

Band-Aids are the bomb! Wait till you have two kids, when one has a band-aid on, so must the other!
