Here goes nothing!

So, I am starting a blog! I have been stalking numerous blogs for about a year and decided that since I haven't gotten swallowed up in the whole MYSPACE thing, I can carve out a few minutes a week to post something and use this as a kind of journal. Since I am a scrapbooker I can use some of my posts as journaling for my pages as well. I don't think anyone will ever read this except for me, but it is kind of fun to have something of my very own out there on the very big, busy world wide web!

"He must become greater, I must become less." This verse from the book of John has been on my heart a lot the last couple of weeks. We have been having some turmoil in our High School Youth Group program, and I have really been trying to live this verse as we try to get things resolved. He must be the one in control and in charge, not me!

I'll leave you with some pictures of the Annual Jones Family Valentine's Ball . . . congratulations to Kristie & Scottie who were crowned King and Queen! Their proclomation as incoming royalty was that more people do the Polar Bear Swim!
