Besides my first grade friends . . . another thing that is cracking me up lately is my sister-in-laws smart alec comments on all the papers I send home. On the "Getting to Know You" form in the comments/concerns section, she wrote "I'd like you to serve nachos at parent teacher conferences." On the "Classroom Help" form in the section where you can check if you'd like to help by sending in snack, coming in to the classroom, with field trips, etc. in the "other" column, she wrote "Rook Parties." Cracks me up . . .
